7-Step Custom Order Process

At KC Luxury Iron Door Company, we’ve made it simple to order your dream door, whether you’re a seasoned renovator or ordering custom iron doors for the first time. Our 7-step process will guide you from start to finish, ensuring your new door fits perfectly and looks stunning in your space.

STEP 1: TAKE QUICK MEASUREMENTS

Measure the height and width of your door frame. For width, measure from the outer edge of the left jamb to the right jamb.

For height, measure from the bottom of the threshold to the top edge of the frame. Don't worry—if you need help, our team is just a call away! These measurements will just start the estimation process.

Choose the door shape that best complements your home’s style. We offer shapes like:

  • Single Doors

  • Double Doors

  • Doors with Transoms or Sidelights

STEP 3: PICK THE SWING DIRECTION

Let us know if you’d like a left-hand or right-hand in-swing. For double doors, choose which side you’d like as the active one for a comfortable flow.
